Research Interests
I am interested in understanding how humans use muscles in walking. How do muscles function during normal walking? How do these functions change during abnormal walking (e.g., walking after a stroke or with cerebral palsy)? Do these functions differ between individual patients? A better understanding of how muscles influence gait deviations may help clinicians select appropriate treatments for these patients.
