Broadly my interests fall in the intersection of computer science, bioinformatics, and data science.

  • Clinical information extraction and predictive modeling using electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Representation learning for modeling text and mobile sensor data.
  • Social network analysis of health-related networks, e.g., hospital healthcare worker interactions, biomedical citation networks, outbreaks of infectious diseases.
  • Data visualization.
